Black Creek Pioneer Village offers a safe environment staffed by caring people who are experienced in delivering group programs for young children.
Kids can enjoy our own Pioneer Day Camp for a full week, or if they are attending another camp, they can take advantage of the half- and full-day kids’ group programs offered in the Village.
Pioneer Day Camp - Unleashing the pioneer spirit in every child
Black Creek Pioneer Village Adventure Day Camp is a summer day camp with a difference! Children ages 8 to 14 will go behind the scenes of Toronto’s favourite living history site to experience life as it was in the 1860s.
During the one-week program, campers will dress, work and play pioneer style! They will cook on a wood stove, make unique arts and crafts, take part in farmyard chores, take natural history hikes and participate in old-fashioned fun and games.
For kids ages 8 to 11, one-week sessions begin July 5, 12, 26 and August 9 and 16. For kids ages 12 to 14, there is a session from July 19 to 23. Camp begins at 9 a.m. and runs to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday
(drop off between 8:30 and 9 a.m. /pick up at 4:30 p.m.).
