Travel back in time to the 1860s at Black Creek Pioneer Village this summer!
Black Creek Pioneer Village introduces a brand new program designed to take young adults back in time for one summer week. As a Young Apprentice in the Village, youth aged 12- 15 will work one-on-one with an adult interpreter in a trade shop or historic house. Young Apprentices will learn the rudiments of a trade or craft, help to portray life in the 1860s, and discover the skills and techniques involved in being a historical interpreter.

The Young Apprentice program is open to youth aged 12 – 15. Preference may be given to former campers of the Black Creek Adventure Day Camp. Young Apprentice program is limited to ten participants. Register early to avoid disappointment.

The fee for the one week session is $225 plus applicable taxes
