Join Catherine Chambers from Let’s Make It at Black Creek Pioneer Village and learn about the history of candle making.
During this workshop, you will learn about a variety of waxes that are used for candle making and wax accessories. You will learn how candle making has evolved over the past four centuries while making your own candles and accessories made from wax.
This workshop will provide you with opportunities to customize your creations as you choose scents and add finishing touches, such as dried flowers.
You will leave the session with:
- Two 8oz soy candles
- Two custom wax seals that can be used to decorate candle vessels or gifts
- Two decorative wax melts
