Return to the Village this spring. Join us Wednesdays – Sundays from 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. for self-guided visits to the Village. Enjoy the grounds, explore the buildings, and visit with the friendly farm animals. You might even see a newborn lamb!
Weekends:
Explore 40 heritage buildings and meet costumed historians ready to guide your “time-travel” to the 1800s! You might discover the latest scientific inventions, get caught up in the silhouette craze, or watch a tinsmith at work. Around every corner, you’ll encounter surprising stories about Toronto’s diverse past. Adventure awaits!

Weekday Tour Experience
Have you always wanted to step into the ‘staff only spaces’ at a museum?
Explore four new experiences at The Village that will allow you to cross barriers and cross curiosity off your to-do list!
Will you get to know The Village with an introductory tour? Choose to dive deeper in history? Explore closed off spaces? The adventure is yours! You’re welcome to join as many tours as you’d like.
These 45-minute tour experiences are led by a costumed historian and offered Wednesday to Friday from April through June.
Meet at the Village Town Hall (number 34) to join the tour. Tour experiences are subject to change. Please check in with the Admissions Desk upon arrival. Please note that a limited number of costumed staff are on site. Weekday Tour Experiences are included in your General Admission fee.

An introduction to the village through the lives of four remarkable women who each navigated the challenges of building a life somewhere new.
12:30 p.m. Behind the Counter: Trades
Cross into the workshop spaces of the trade and get hands on in the Printing Office. This activity is just your type.
2:00 p.m. Behind the Chain: Buildings
Step into the rooms most visitors only see from the doorway. Gain a new perspective of familiar places.
3:00 p.m. Criminal or Victim?
Explore stories from a world where “other” was blamed and justice was life altering. Were these people criminals or victims? You be the judge!
