Camp Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.*
Extended Care: Extended care is available from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Camp Fees:** $380.00/week ($352.00/four-day week)
Heritage Arts & Crafts camp: $445.00/week
Culinary Arts Week – Young Foodies camp: $470.00/week
Extended Care Fees: $90.00/week ($80.00/four-day week)

July 6-10, 2026: HISTORY EXPLORATION PART 1 – Day Camp

Jump into the past! Have old-fashioned fun by trying out activities such as butter churning, baking, weaving, and carding wool. If you want to know what it was like to be a kid 150 years ago, this week is for you!

July 6-10, 2026: BEHIND THE SCENES AT THE VILLAGE – Specialty Day Camp

Go behind the scenes in the heritage village by visiting areas not usually open to the public!

Ever wonder who creates costumes? How artifacts are kept safe? Who looks after the animals? Spend time with the museum professionals who make all of this happen, and then “apprentice” in a different heritage building each day, learning the tricks of the 19th century trade. This week is ideal for history and museum enthusists!

July 13-17, 2026: HISTORY EXPLORATION PART 2 – Day Camp

Step further into the 1800s at The Village this week! Try out heritage trades such as printing and tinsmithing, play Victorian sports and games, and explore our historical buildings and gardens.

Participation in History Exploration Part 1 is not necessary to enjoy this week!

July 13-17, 2026: CULINARY ARTS WEEK – YOUNG FOODIES PART 1 – Specialty Day Camp

Bake your way back in time with our historical cooking experts! Cook something new each day using recipes from the past for inspiration!

Using 19th century stoves and kitchen tools, bake bread and cookies, churn butter, concoct tasty drinks, make jellies and jams, and discover what you need to be a historical cook! Cap off the week by planning & enjoying a Victorian picnic.

July 20-24, 2026: PLANTS & ANIMALS PART 1 – Day Camp

Delve into the natural world at The Village this week!

Campers will dig deep into our gardens to learn about all things above the soil and below, including the critters who help our gardens grow. They’ll meet our farm animals, learn about other animals found around The Village, and discover how they fit into life in the 1800s, as well as today.

Campers can expect to explore The Village and beyond, create crafts from nature, and learn about the important role that plants and animals play in our world.

July 27-31, 2026: PLANTS & ANIMALS PART 2 – Day Camp

Continue your foray into the natural world this week! From bugs to blooms to barnyards, there’s so much to explore. Venture across The Village and learn from our gardens and farm animals, as well as the other critters who can be found here.

Participation in Plants & Animals Part 1 is not necessary to enjoy this week!

July 27-31, 2026: HERITAGE ARTS & CRAFTS- Specialty Day Camp

Calling all crafters! This camp week is designed for teens with an interest in exploring historical arts and crafts.

Venture through our heritage buildings as you learn the skills that went into creating beautiful textiles, keepsakes, and artwork in the Victorian period! Campers will try their hand at a different form of art or craft each day, including embroidery, paper collage, watercolour painting, and more, all inspired by 19th-century arts and crafts.

Our crafty campers will end their week with new skills and a portfolio of handmade treasures inspired by the past.

Discover more 19th century recipes with our historical baking experts at The Village! Bake bread, pies, tarts, and cakes, churn butter, and experience cooking over an open fire. You’ll even spend time in the workshop making your own kitchen tools!

Cap off the week by planning and enjoying a traditional Victorian tea.

Participation in Part 1 is not necessary to enjoy this week!

August 31-September 4, 2026: EXPLORE THE VILLAGE – Day Camp

Come and see all that The Village at Black Creek has to offer! Wrap up your summer with a whirlwind of activities: venture through our many historical buildings, meet our farm animals, and explore our gardens. Campers will take part in hands-on heritage activities as they immerse themselves in our vibrant village.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation requests received by Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA) more than 30 days before the start of the camp program will receive a 75% refund of the relevant program fees paid. Cancellation requests received by TRCA less than 30 days before the start of the camp program do not qualify for a refund. Rescheduling is subject to availability. There is no refund for camp days missed or children opting not to participate in activities. Cancellation requests must be received in writing by email to vservices@trca.ca. Minimum registration numbers required for camp to operate. In the event TRCA must cancel the camp due to low registration or government order, a full refund will be issued.
