Edith’s Story

CHAPTER FIVE

You keep trying to do good with charitable work. Your parents greatly approve, as ladies are “naturally” gentle and nurturing.

Collecting funds and organizing benefits is all very well, but you want to do more. As Confederation nears, you wish there were more room for women in the nation’s workings.

You decide to teach: setting an example for girls, and raising the leaders of tomorrow.

Not wholly satisfied with Confederation, you skip the village’s celebration soirée. You have lessons to prepare, and you know that is how you’ll change the world.

THE END

What’s next? Find out what happened to Edith after Confederation.
